Nikki Beach EMEA hotels and resorts have signed a management agreement with south-east Mediterranean resort developer Dolphin Capital Investors, to operate a five-star resort in Cyprus.
Scheduled to open in 2012, Nikki Beach Resort and Spa will be built within the currently incomplete Venus Rock Golf Resort in Paphos. With sales handled directly by Dolphin through development company Aristo, it will comprise a 50-villa residential development and an 80-room, luxury hotel with sea-view accommodation, spa and fitness facilities, concierge service and restaurants. The resort is the first in a series of Nikki Beach-branded projects set for development in Greece, according to the company.
“The essence of our brand development strategy is a careful choice of partners who share our vision of setting new benchmarks in the luxury hospitality sector in upcoming destinations”, said Jihad el Khoury, CEO of Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts EMEA. “Our new partnership with Dolphin gives us the unique opportunity to bring Nikki Beach’s glamour and high-end entertainment to South East Europe”.
Largest project in SE Europe
Once completed, Venus Rock Golf Resort will span over 1,000 hectares of land in Paphos, with 850m of beachfront, two branded golf courses designed by Tony Jacklin and around 3,000 residential units. The company claims it will be the largest seafront development in South East Europe. Miltos Kambouridis, managing partner of Dolphin, was “delighted to be partnering with Nikki Beach to create a dramatic centerpiece at the heart of Venus Rock Golf Resort”. He added: “With each luxury resort that it creates, Dolphin teams up with only the most dynamic and respected brands in their fields. Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts is a distinguished global brand with five-star hotels in the most exotic destinations”.
